About
Founded in 2011, Capital ABA, LLC offers a full suite of applied behavior analytic services.
With therapists currently located in Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland, we are helping more families than ever.
Dave is both founder and behavior analyst at Capital ABA. He holds a Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell University, is BACB certified, and licensed to practice Behavior Analysis in Virginia. Dave began working with children with special needs in the summer of 2003. Twenty years later, he is more intrigued by human behavior than he ever was. Over the years, he has gained hands on experience working directly with learners in the classroom and home environments, as well as several years experience as both a Behavior Analyst and Behavior Department Director in the private school setting. His professional interests include the treatment of severe behavior, priming as an academic strategy, and the effects of caregiver behavior on client behavior.
Dave has served on the board of directors of both the Virginia Association of Behavior Analysis and DC Association of Behavior Analysts.
Dave's work has been presented at several major conferences including ABAi's annual conference 2010 and ABAi's Autism Conference 2011.
